Since its beginnings in the futures industry in 1988, we at Cannon Trading have taken an active interest in seeing our clients succeed. Our weekly newsletter, daily blog, live day-trading webinar, and our periodic internal and guest hosted webinars all point in that direction.
In the field of automated trading we've tracked many strategies over the years and have been reluctant to share these systems with our clients; the simple reason is that we have seen many systems with impressive back-tested results that failed to produce solid and consistent real-time results.
That being said, we finally feel strongly enough to share and feature a few trading systems with our trading family. We'd like to introduce a system that we have been trading LIVE since April 2012.
This trading system trades a few liquid markets such as ten year notes, the dollar index and the e-mini S&P 500. It is a swing trading system that holds trades from one day to one week.
We have monitored and evaluated the system's 15 year hypothetical performance over the past year and felt strong enough to start actual LIVE trading about 6 months ago.
We are happy to report that the first client who started back in April of 2012 is now up approximately 45% NET of all fees, commissions and system costs.**
This system is executed here at Cannon on behalf of interested clients with a letter of direction so clients do not need to be glued to their machines for execution; this allows our traders to trade a self-directed account while allowing the automated strategy to work on their behalf in another.
Different traders have different risk tolerance and different financial situation, and we respect that; hence we invite you to fill out the contact information below so a broker can email and/or call you with in-depth information about the system being offered, a detailed report of the trades that took place since we started live trading, answer questions you may have and review the risks and opportunities this trading system offers.
This trading system DOES HAVE A MAXIMUM number of contracts it can execute, so if you are interested, fill out the information below to learn more.
The crude oil futures market is known as one of the more volatile ones. More and more day-traders are actually "discovering" the intraday volatility (which can work for and against you). In this week's newsletter, we decided to share a much larger scale view and feature a weekly chart of the crude oil futures. With elections coming and tensions in Middle East, it is anyone's guess as to the contract's longer term price action. From a technical perspective, we are looking for prices to experience downward pressure. A break below $89.00 could trigger a retest of the $83.00 level.
