Volatile day in the markets today.<\/div>\n
NASDAQ 100 has shifted into short term bear mode for now while SP 500 is still holding above key levels ( IMO).<\/div>\n

Spread chart of NQ-ES below for your review. It is a daily chart of NQ prices MINUS ES prices. As you can see last few trading days the ES is keeping more strength versus the NQ.<\/div>\n

As I mentioned in previous blog posts, may ways to try and “skin the cat”….day trading or scalping INDEX futures is only one.<\/div>\n

Some traders will trade spreads like the ES\/ NQ on an intraday basis or longer, some traders will look at other markets like gold, crude and bonds ( versus focusing on the indices only) and some traders will trade a basket of products, being active based on where they feel opportunities are like Micro Bitcoin.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
