Heads up traders.\u00a0The holidays are near at hand and with them, holiday trading hours and holiday trading conditions.\u00a0This year, Christmas falls on a Sunday and Monday the 26th\u00a0is the designated holiday.\u00a0So, when the markets close Friday afternoon \u2013 at their regular times – the markets will remain closed Sunday night all the way through to their Monday afternoon\/evening openings.\u00a0Ordinarily, trade volume across all asset classes declines into a holiday and this may be augmented due to the extended closures of the markets.\u00a0It\u2019s advised to keep an eye on your open positions and open orders coming into the Monday afternoon opening.<\/h3>\n
