3. Daily Mini S&P 500 Futures Chart from October 7, 2011<\/h3>\n

Monday is Columbus Day, which is a bank holiday but MOST markets are open regular times.<\/p>\n

Columbus Day Schedule<\/a><\/p>\n

Looking forward using the daily chart below I actually see a case for both the bulls and the bears…After a few days of gains the market gave up momentum and failed against the 1175 which is the 50 days moving average and had a bearish close BUT still was able to close above first support at 1141.<\/p>\n

It will be interesting to see which way we will open Sunday night. At this point I see us in a range between 1141 and 1175. I suspect that a break above 1175 will trigger stops and short covering and that a break below 1141 may attract fresh selling. I will wait and see price action before deciding on which way to attack the market.<\/p>\n
