The mini Russell 2000 is finally coming back to the CME. I say finally because the ICE exchange has been charging retail clients $110 per month for live data, which in my opinion is outrageous.

 As of Monday July 10 (Sunday evening), the mini Russell will be back at the CME and clients will have access to live data and trading for the same price they already pay to trade the CME mini SP, mini Nasdaq etc. (depending on the level of quotes and software that price can range between $1 per month to $6 per month). Independence Day 2017 Holiday Schedule for CME / Globex and ICE Exchanges 

From the CME Globex Control Center, here is the summary of KEY changes, per CME market segment –

Monday 7/03 – ONLY EARLY closes are Equities, Grains and Livestock

                    – ALL OTHERS = REGULAR close

Monday night – NORMAL OPEN times for all markets, EXCEPT grains and meats remain closed.

Tuesday 7/04 – ALL OPEN markets go into HALT at 12:00 noon

            – (except grains and meats = stay closed)

Tuesday night – NORMAL OPEN times – (except grains and meats = stay closed)
