Monthly unemployment tomorrow is sure to move the market. Big question is which way and how big of a move…I wish I knew.

Be careful, moves can be quite volatile so make sure you know you risk before you “simply” decide to get in!

Hello Traders

I was thinking of what I can share with you today and I really didn’t have any valuable thoughts to share and that’s when I remembered that sometimes clients tell me they took a trade when there is really no trade to take BECAUSE…

They felt they “must” take a trade…

because if they didn’t take a trade , they were not doing their job as a trader…

Because they were bored….

and the list goes on…

I think that a big, big part of trading is mental. there many different methods to lose and make money…..but in order to make any method/ approach work, one needs DISCIPLINE and PATIENCE and if you are a day-trader especially, sometimes not taking a trade is the right decision and is more important than where to enter, the stop, targets etc.

Significant Gains Today Followed by Fizzling of Market | Support and Resistance Levels

Hello Traders,

Interesting action today. Strong start after better than expected ISM and construction spending reports. Markets made significant gains but fizzled during the last hour with NASDAQ and RUSSELL finishing negative for the day – some what bearish close. Should be interesting ahead of Friday’s unemployment report.
