The Swiss did it Monday morning. The Brits are doing it Wednesday morning, The French release on Friday afternoon. Here is Econoday.com’s Consensus for the U.S. number . These data releases have roiled the markets in near unprecedented fashion recently directly tied to the interest rate tightening cycle we have been in for 3 quarters. The rest of the week we have a full slate of economic releases, anyone of which will move markets, some longer than others. For example US Retail sales and Industrial Production, Thursday Housing Starts, Jobless claims, Philly Fed and US:PPI Final demand. be alert!
