1. Trading 202: Price-Driven Trade Ideas - the concept of Leading and Following Markets.

What they are and how you can benefit from them - FREE trial to an AI APP.

By Inc.

The markets are constantly moving and changing. There are many factors that impact any specific market instrument at any given time. One area that includes good opportunities for traders to engage is the concept of Leading and Following Markets.

The fundamental trading concept that this technology is based on is called Leading and Following markets. This fundamental concept is used by professional traders who trade the Following Market after they see specific moves in the Leading market.

You don't want to predict (gamble) what the direction of any specific market will be, that's why it is much better to identify one market that follows a different one and then trade it when you see the Leading market has already moved.

2. Hot Market Report: Silver Futures Leading Volatility in the Metals Sector

By Ilan Levy-Mayer

Silver futures; Silver belongs to the "metals family": Gold, Silver, Copper, Platinum, Palladium. All traded on the COMEX exchange.
Silver futures had a nice rally last two weeks, which was terminated this morning. Silver prices slid ± 60 cents – over 3% - mid-morning today erasing a week of gains and followed gold’s decline to lows it hasn’t seen since last December. President Trump announced a 25% tarriff on $50 billion of Chinese goods today prompting China to announce an impending response. Trade differences between the world’s two largest economies and these recent actions threaten a broader trade dispute also involving Canada and the European Union as they themselves have voted to impose similar actions as countermeasures to recent U.S.-imposed tarriffs on metals.
Daily chart of silver Futures for your review from this morning ( June 15th 2018). Silver is "usually" volatile enough and liquid enough to be suitable for both day trading and swing trading.
