I am asked (and many times I ask myself…) about the keys to succeeding in trading in general and futures trading in specific. The list is long and to be honest it is not a science.
It is a mix of art and math, personality and discipline and much more in between. In all honesty I have seen many different ways to make money in the futures and commodities world.
I saw and still see clients trade and make money. One of the biggest and overlooked problems is not “how to make money” it is actually “learning how to lose”….If you never traded before you may raise an eyebrow…If you traded you starting to smell where I am going with this….
So many times as a broker I see clients who know how to make money...I see it in the daily statements, good winning %, and consistent profits UNTIL....

Good turn around in energies this week. Natural Gas recovering from deep oversold conditions, shouldn’t see must resistance until close to the $3.20 area.
Looks like the funds are becoming buyers of most commodities, so could see good continuation here.
Stocks of natural gas are in line with averages, if we get a cold winter to along with fund buying could see this market jump again.
