Nymex crude oil futures this week have pushed to a seven-month high as a solid price uptrend is in place on the daily bar chart.
The bulls are in firm near-term technical control, which means the path of least resistance for prices will remain sideways to higher in the near term.
The rally in crude oil is bullish news for the rest of the raw commodity sector, too.
The raw commodity sector continues to move out of a bust cycle and into a boom cycle that is likely to last a few years.
