The gold market is in a near-term price uptrend on the daily chart as the bulls are proving to be a resilient lot. A recent U.S. interest rate increase and assets flowing into world stock markets
have been negative elements for the safe-haven metal.
There is some stiff overhead technical resistance at the $1,265.00 area, which must be cleared to provide the bulls with the power to sustain the fledgling uptrend.--
