See on the daily bar chart for May Nymex crude oil futures that prices are in a four-week-old uptrend and have just hit a fresh five-week high. The crude bulls have gained good upside technical momentum heading into the peak U.S. driving season. The bullish technical posture in crude oil is also a bullish underlying factor for the entire raw commodity sector. See the important technical support and resistance levels on the chart.
