Algo Trading/Trading Systems

CTAs are regulated by the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) and the National Futures Association (NFA) and are required to provide in depth disclosure documents (unless exempt by CTFC 4.7) and submit to an FBI background check. See on the daily bar chart for the Goldman Sachs Commodity Index that prices are in an accelerating downtrend. The raw commodity sector, as depicted by the GSCI, is getting hammered at present. Crude oil, precious metals, grains and softs are all taking a beating. It is my bias that this latest major bust cycle in raw commodities is in its very late stages.
